Qatar Accidently Buys France

Today the world stands stun as the Qatar Investment Authority accidently bought the whole of France. The Qatari Prime Minister, HH Sheik Hamad gave an emotional interview to LivingfreeinQatar blog.

'We had a clear strategy as regards to France, first we bought some small companies, then we wanted a football team so the nice Mr Sarzkozy suggest we buy Paris St Germain the team he supports. All that was going really well and then someone suggested over Shisha lets buy all the cheese in France. Why not I thought, I'm always partial to a little brie with my karak chai. Next thing I know we are handed the deeds to France itself, it turns out that the only thing of value left in France was the cheese and they had secured the national debt against their EU fancy cheese mountain.'

When asked what's was Qatar's plans with France and was there anything sinister behind this move, the PM responded.

'No, no, no. It's not something we wanted to do and we have no plans to change France at all. However we do have the problem of 80 million frenchmen. We call the British PM to see if he wanted them and he said no way, the German Chancellor also turned us down saying they tried that once but it didn't end well. I guess I will just have to get used to shrugging my shoulders and turning my nose up at the British. We might try and auction off the bits we do not want, but the market is depressed for Frenchmen, arrogrant French Women and phallic shaped bread so I guess we will have to hold on until the price is right'

After the complete takeover of France, Italy has put it's salami on the not for sale list, the Swiss their cuckoo clocks but the Spainish said they will sell themselves to whoever wants them as long as they don't expect them to have to take jobs.

As the world gets used to the new reality of Chanel designing the Thobes and Abayas of the GCC, the UN is asking which country is next?
